Questions

About the letter writer

Is my letter private?

Your letter is written on your device. When you send it, it is encrypted there first and only the encrypted version is saved, while the key to open it exists only in the link you send, so we cannot read it. The link itself is the key, though: anyone who has the full link can open the letter, so send it only to your spouse, and privately.

Are the verses and hadith authentic?

Yes. The Arabic of every verse is taken word for word from the Tanzil Qur'an text, and every hadith comes from Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abi Dawud or Jami' at-Tirmidhi, with its reference shown under the quote so you can check it. The English is a meaning, not a word-for-word translation.

Can I change the words?

Yes. Tap Edit words, then tap any line and rewrite it. You can also remove the quote, change the tone or the stationery, or tap Write again for a fresh version.

Can a wife write to her husband?

Of course. Choose who the letter is for, and the wording, the verses and the signature all adapt.

How do I send it?

Send it on WhatsApp, copy a private link, share it as an image, or print it and hand it over in person. The link opens as a sealed envelope with your letter inside.

Which letters can I write?

Thanks and appreciation, an anniversary (including your first), hard times, a dua for your future, a letter after an argument, a letter when you feel far apart, one for your first night after nikah, one to your future spouse, and one to celebrate becoming parents.

Does it cost anything?

No. The letter writer is completely free, and there is nothing to sign up for.
